We are currently very impressed with the first spring season of our trail wildflower plants in the three wooden planters situated centrally within the D.  Courtesy of grant funding provided by Gwynt Y Mor community fund.

All the species have grown well, and unlike us humans, seemed to have relished the very wet and cool spring weather! The Red Campion seems to be taking over and becoming dominant as you can see from these photographs. Advice concerning any need to thin out or prune back some species is being sought from the council's Biodiversity Team and we look forward to seeing even more of these beautiful wildflowers flourishing and thriving through our planters within the park.
