New Entrance Signage at The Ffrith

The Friends of the Ffrith are delighted to be able to unveil our new signage at the entrance to the Ffrith Community Park!

The signage was partly funded by a grant from Gwynt y Mor, and The Friends funded the balance from our own funds and it was installed in time for Family Fun Day on 9^th August 2025.

We have been campaigning for over 20 years to get The Ffrith Community Park recognised and named and we're delighted to say that it was finally approved by Denbighshire County Council and Prestatyn Town Council in 2024.

We are very proud of our local park and at last it has an identity of its own. Passing traffic and pedestrians can now clearly see it’s a public park resulting in an increasing number of users.
